A friend is having an issue.

So basically, a friend just downloaded the game, BO2. After being able to fix an issue with the screen appearing just as a little square on the top left corner, now that he's on fullscreen, all of the text buttons like Options for example, are invisible. He can't see when i'm inviting him.
We just tried something, I helped him blindly join me, but it just kicks him back to the main menu with an error screen that we can't see. This is zombies mode by the way.
If someone could tell me what the issue is and how to fix it, I would be incredibly thankful. (I also speak spanish just in case someone spanish knows the issue.)
