why are eu players playing on high ping servers?

I am a eu player and most of the eu servers are dead and filled with bots with 1-2 real players. i play around 4-9pm and forced to play 100+ ping servers and noticed majority of the players are also playing with 100 ping!

Probably because the server browser doesn't show the real info (flag and ping)
