BO2 zombies Crashes every time i join a server

I havent played bo2 plutonium in awhile and before it worked just fine, it would lag a bit when i would join but thats normal. Now whenever i try to join any server it just freezes instantly and even my cursor is stuck. I have 2 monitors so when i move my mouse it doesnt move on the client but when it gets far enough it still moves around on my desktop. Before you say bad files. I completely uninstalled plutonium and all of the games on it in its entirety completely from my computer and re-installed them. And even tried loading into servers with the lowest graphics settings possible, still nothing. I then decided to just run bo2 from steam and with max settings and unlimited framerate there was not even the slightest bit of lag trying to launch any zombies gamemode.
(edit: i forgot to try this until after but in plutonium i decided to load a custom game and it worked completely fine with zero problem. So the only thing that i can believe is that this is only a problem when i try to load into servers because that is the only thing that wont work. And my computer is completely capable of running black ops 2 so that isnt the issue.)

Game crashing when joining a server
Let the server browser finish to load all the servers in the list.
Then you can join a server without crashing.
This is a known issue, there is no date for a fix, just do this until eventually it's fixed one day -
thank you for you solution because it actually worked. But i have to say if thats the fix that its gotta be a pretty goofy bug.
