I have added all possible folders to exceptions, and my directX version is 11.0, with dxwebsetup stating that my version is up to date.
It still simply crashes when i press Play button. But when i start launcher from AppData\Local\Plutonium\bin, before crashing it says that XINPUT1_4.dll is missing.
    I am using Windows 7.
I don't have a lot of knowledge on this subject, but reading some internet threads lead me to believe that the problem could be with Windows 7 only supporting xinput 1.3 and not 1.4.
    (like this one https://www.gamedev.net/forums/topic/693215-xinput1_4dll-missing/ )
So could this be an issue with Windows 7 in general or is there something else that i can do? Thanks

Yeah the reason is the controller update, needs xinput1_4 which is only shipped from win10 onwards. And windows 7 isn't even supported by microsoft anymore, might have unpatched vulns and is considered EOL, consider upgrading to win10. It's free tho, so why wouldn't you.
