IICaptain If a server doesn't want you to use a VPN and they detect you using one, they have the right to ban you. Plus, why are you using a VPN anyway? That's kind of suspicious.

viprah The server owners have rules, and if you break the rules, that's that. Even if you forgot to turn off your VPN, it doesn't change the fact that you broke the rules.

"Only asked that question to ensure my safety online since I've already read some stuff about servers owners or just players as well, still could sell your IP or use it for other matters and that. Hence, I'm only asking again to ensure my safety playing a game that I ain't even paid for

If a server has a no VPN rule and you're using one they have the right to ban you. Let me put this very simple No a lot of servers do not allow a VPN if you are detected using one you will be ban but if you must use a VPN then you could try to see if a NordVPN obfuscated server will bypass the VPN detection.

The VPN blocking is a feature inside IW4MADMIN which is a server admin tool that alot of servers use. All the feature does though is kick you if your IP is detected as a VPN. It doesn't ban as far as I am aware, so you're fine there.
Most VPN's will be detected as a VPN though.
