Cannot start BO2 via plutonium

Hi, I'm new here, and I almost got to play BO2, but for one last step: the launcher does not initialise, it just gets stuck on this:

- exluding pluto from scanning in your antivirus software: https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus/
- closing or disabling any software that has a directx overlay (msi afterburner, rivatuner, ...)
- simply restarting your pc and not starting any software besides pluto
- unplugging any vr headsets or similar hardware you may have plugged in
