Hey! When getting brought to your guide to install Plutonium for BO2 Multiplayer (T6), I also had to install the game on my local machine through Steam and since it mentioned it nowhere I installed the base game.
It automatically installs the Multiplayer as well (or atleast I thought), but upon closer inspection "Verifying game files" for the multiplayer "game" in the library doesnt work at all.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the multiplayer part fixed the issue, and it would be nice if you could add a disclaimer to the guide saying that people should specifically install the Multiplayer "game" from their library, that will also indirectly install the base game (hopefully intact).
Might be buggy on the Steam download side, and would have to be tested if that happens every time. I wanted to share my experience so others don't have to search around for it, thankfully it was an easy fix.
