I want to host a private match, but everyone I invite gets the error 'Unable to join game session' and vice versa. My nat type is moderated. Perhaps it has to do with this.

ElroyNL Moderate Nat is the problem. You've to open it, you can find the tutorials on Youtube. Once you have it open you can be the host without the slightest problem.
