Error during initialization

Hey! I Keep getting an error prompt when i try to open the game. It says: "Missing config file "default_mp_controls.cfg" during initiliazation. May need to add to code_pre_gfx."
I've already tried with repairing the game files through steam but it seems like the missing file keeps getting deleted. -
What mode are you trying to start and which modes do you have installed in Steam?
