Connection issues, after that stats reset?

I've been playing Black Ops 2 for quite some time now, but today I encountered some frustrating connection issues. To make matters worse, when I logged back in later this evening, I was shocked to find that my stats had been completely reset. I'm perplexed as to why this happened. Could it be because my account stood out with a near 9.7 KD ratio? I want to clarify that I haven't engaged in any cheating behavior. My playing history is typically involving warming up on bot servers, which often results in high KD ratios. Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this issue, or why it happened? I would be greatly appreciate that!
