Make rules clear/easier to notice

I just got plutonium today in order to play some black ops 1 zombies after seeing that it was needed to play and after a couple minutes decided to use cheat engine when all of a sudden my sound stopped working so i closed the game and when i open it back up i saw a message that said i was banned. i really confused at first before i came to the forum and saw that there was a special mode i was supposed to put my game in before i could cheat. i just feel like you should have made that more clear or at least gave a warning before outright banning. it took me 30 minutes of searching around the website before i even found out why i got banned and how to enter Lan mode which i think is a little stupid considering that it is a required in order to not get banned. i was so exited to play some zombies after many years of not playing and spent all day trying to figure out how to get it to work just to get banned, minutes after finally getting it to work, for something that was not stated very clearly. now i have to wait an entire week and it's just so frustrating and discouraging to have happen.

A forum is not a great place for documentation, which is why we have our own dedicated place for it.
Every player gets in contact with our documentation page through the installation process and that is by design.
The Anti-Cheat is filed under Plutonium -> Features -> Anticheat and very hard to miss if one is interested in learning about it. We to make it very clear where we do draw the line between cheating and modding, especially for players coming from consoles were modding is synonymous with cheating.Big Brother said in Make rules clear/easier to notice:

The warning is directly on plutonium.pw as the Anticheat is literally one of the first three features mentioned and not just a side note.

So you are telling us, a tool literally called cheat engine does not fit the category of "External tools and cheats" ?
While I do understand your frustration it was you not us who's first action was to attach cheat engine and assume it was fine.

Xerxes i spent about 30 minutes writing explanations to counter everything you said before just deleting it all as i realized that it, in the end, wouldn't matter what i say as after looking at the forums i noticed that your policy on bans is basically "Fuck you, we're right your wrong, so you just have to deal with it". so i guess I'll just wait out the 7 days and hope that i remember to always click the very easy to miss button that switches it to Lan lest i get perma banned.

Big Brother Our policy is: this is a project made on free time and our admins don't have time to review all the reports for false bans, insults and so on. Plutonium is a tool. Not a paid service that owes you anything. Also the chances that you actually need Cheat Engine are pretty low. Using a cheat on an online game can always get you banned that's how it is

yes i know that but zombies single player isn't exactly online now is it?

Big Brother Plutonium is an online client so the moment you click play you are online. It doesn't change whenever you're in solo or on a server etc.
