black ops 1 problem with botwarfare need help!!

Hello, I would like to know if someone has already happened to you or can give me a hand. I have Black Ops 1 version of Steam but I don't use it on Steam. I use it with Plutonium. The problem is that I put the bot warfare in the mods folder of the game in its root folder. it says the instructions but when I open the multiplayer and go to the mods section the mod does not appear to activate it and if I run the game from steam without opening putonium the mods appear and it lets me activate them but they do not work in steam and I want to use the game from plutonium any idea how to solve this? thank you.
