Can I play with xbox players?

I was wondering if you can play with players who just play the regular version of black ops 2 on the xbox? because one of my friends doesnt have a pc and cant get plutonium. But since its the same game version would crossplay work? Or would it not work because its using plutonium servers and not treyarch servers?

There's no cross platform support for BO2 plutonium. II did heard about being able to install Linux Ubuntu on Xbox 360 and using it to play PC games (BO2 Plutonium may or may not work using this method + only recommended if you have some good experience with Xbox 360 modding and stuff). Plus, its got nothing to with servers but the game itself

These games never had crossplatform so idk how you expect Plutonium servers to work with Xbox servers if Steam doesn't even work with Xbox
