Connect to own server in LAN Mode

I want to play BO2 MP on my Steam Deck. Since that isn't possible AFAIK because of some cheating concerns I setup my own t6 server and want to join it from LAN mode. However this doesn't seem to be possible since I don't see an option to manually connect to an IP (at least in LAN mode, I am unable to test this in normal mode since I currently only have the steam deck) and the server browser is empty.
Would that be at all possible? I do not want to cheat but only play on my own server against bots or other LAN players to level up normally (maybe with XP boost on the server if that is possible).

Use the connect command with the IP and port of your server.
