Need help to start modding on BO2 pls

Hello, I would like to get into "modding" and I would like to start by customizing my HUD but I can't find anything on YT. what are the prerequisite software to get started please

https://github.com/plutoniummod/t6-scriptsI just use Visual Studio Code with the Treyarch extension. I don't know what other people uses. However, the best way to learn is to ask on plutonium discord, looking at source code, and just trying random stuff. Since GSC is based off c++, it should be easy to learn the basics.

So since that didn't help with what you wanna do first here https://plutonium.pw/docs/modding/loading-textures/ if you can photoshop with dds plugin is supposed to be good but I also heard the gimp and paint.net where too and they tend to make me hate them so idk but get a program that you can edit dds files, get iwi converter https://www.itsmods.com/forum/Thread-Release-IWI-DDS-Fast-Converter-V1-40.html and unpack your game textures and just edit them around. I suggest small stuff first I did grenades first myself. Also try no to change resolutions to much as they don't tend to look right if you change aspect ratios. If a texture is black ingame you messed up somehow corrupted the image when you converted is a easy mistake or something like that. Honestly just try different programs as there might be a better one and try not to cry as this game will try its best sometimes. This game has some really annoying ways to go about things some places and they suck. (And everyone hates .tga for a reason)
