How do I play BO2 multiplayer?

I have BO2 on steam, but somehow I still can't play it on plutonium. I don't want to torrent the game since I've owned this game. If anyone can help please look at the screenshot that shows my error.

Install both MP and ZM and repair both

tried that and both come up with the same error of "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired"
