Bo1 multiplayer freezing

whenever i load up t5 multiplayer, the menu works for a few seconds then completely freezes. it happens without any input from me and i have to close the game manually. I noticed it happens faster whenever i move my mouse cursor but its a guaranteed freeze either way. Any fixes?
