I can't change my mouse sensitivity with console commands

The only way I've found to change mouse sensitivity is in the in game settings but even with it set to the lowest it's still a bit too high. Console commands won't change the sensitivity at all, and trying to use the FOV commands isn't doing anything either. Is there a fix for this?
