How to join friends in WAW (World at War Zombies)

Added on Plutonium as friends.
Friend 1 goes into a co-op game lobby.
Console command "xpartygo" to force start the server.
Friend 2 presses F10 and double-clicks on Friend 1's name in the friends tab to join their server. Friend 1's name should display as "Friend X in a private game"; this indicates that you are able to join. If it only shows that they are online, you must refresh the tab by switching to another tab and back, or close the friends tab and press F10 again.
You might join halfway through a round and be a spectator. The game host can use the console command "fast_restart" to restart the map, or you can wait until the next round.

Same Network

Friend 1 goes into a SOLO game and chooses a map.
Friend 2 enters "connect 192.168.x.x:port" (local IP with port) into the console. This connect command uses the local IP address and port information displayed in Friend 1's network tab (accessible via F10).
A common mistake is trying to join a friend's co-op game; it must be a solo game.
