Issues with mouse acceleration
-
From what I could test, IW5 seems to force mouse raw input, but T6 doesn't. cl_mouseaccel works to increase acceleration in both games, but setting it to 0 doesn't disable it in T6. I'm aware about the pointer precision setting in Windows, I'm just wondering if there's a way to not have to disable it every time I want to play T6.

-noforcemaccel -noforcemparms in launch options if you're on steam

asunaqq Didn't work. Besides, doesn't Plutonium use its own settings separate from the base game?

Lumnyl When you have steam it launches via steam though so it should still take the launch options into consider

asunaqq Still didn't do anything, even when changing those settings through the console. I've also tried IW4x and it has the exact same problem. T4 and T5 have a "raw_input" which does work, but it's nowhere to be found on T6 (and IW5 for that matter, not sure what's different about it that I don't have problems over there).

Here are my tips to fix that:
- Go to Control Panel -> Mouse -> Pointer Options -> "Enchance pointer precision" and turn that off.
- Use command: "cl_mouseAccel 0"
- In game settings turn off vsync, and use FOV SCALE 1.00 with FOV SENSITIVITY enabled
That should help, let me know if it did.

bojlermontaz Vsync and FOV settings were already at those values. As for the first two points, you just repeated what I already said I knew and did in the opening post. Is that an AI-generated response? Because it sures does feel like one.
