gts Hardcoremode 1 doesn't increase damage

I've noticed that when I am playing hardcore mode that it doesn't actually increase damage. Everything else like the UI is like it should and it does say "hardcore team deathmatch" when the game starts but doesn't change damage whatsoever.
Any way around this or am I missing something?
Or is there a way I can manually change damage?

Hardcore does not change damage, it sets players health to 30, so some things may not one shot still but if you compare damage you should kill with less bullets

Resxt yeah, but when I compared both, then player health didn't seem to change at all
