Why is MW2 missing?

Not sure if this question was already answered or not, but I'm genuinely curious to know: Why was MW2 skipped? Like, you have WaW and then it jumps to BO1. Is there any particular reason for it?

It has been answered dozens if not hundred of times already yes
MW2 has had dozens of clients probably since its release date/few years after its release date so there is no reason to create yet another when there are so many available out there already
It's not like Plutonium would add any value to this game that's been modded in every possible way already
TLDR:
- No added value for the users
- No fun/challenge doing it for Plutonium's devs
- (Good) options already exist
