Lan Game Crash

When I try to run a lan game it crashes after another player connects
using host computer custom games xpartygo
client computers connect then the ip
the 2nd player can sometimes make it in just long enough to walk around
sometime crash before it gets all the way logged in

ive tried reseting player stats
tried with dedicated server as well
does the same thing as soon as anyone connects
any help would be great
willing to try anything to the best of my ability -
I am not running afterburner or anything with an overlay either.
