Playing over Lan

I see there is a Lan option in the launcher. But i can't get one client to find the other. they are plugged into the same switch but they can't join eachother. Am i missing something. i Tested it with BO1. Both launchers have different accounts logged in.

i also tested with bo2. with online and lan mode, with open nat even. get nothing
