[Resource][Release][ZM] T5 Moon Hacker Equipment Port to T6

This mod ports the Hacker equipment from BO1 Moon to BO2.
Installation
- Download the latest release.
- Extract the
zm_wpn_hacker
folder. - Go to
%localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t6
by pressing Win+R then pasting the mentioned path then pressing OK, and open themods
folder. If themods
folder does not exist, create it.
- Move the
zm_wpn_hacker
folder to inside themods
folder. - Start the game and load the mod through the in-game
Mods
menu.

Resxt dunno if we can call it a pretty "script heavy" equipment so yea it was probly hard to make sure it would work in everything it can interact with

this mod is cool and all but when i load it up i could not find the hacker anywhere (and when i used "give equip_hacker_zm" it gave it to me but did nothing)

xXPatrickStarXx it will be in the spawn area at a random location on the floor. Just keep looking.

GhostRider0125 thanks! I mainly wish for it to be used with other mods rather than be used as a standalone one. Therefore, I don’t plan on adding nor modifying any features beyond the existing behaviour for it from the games it exists in.

Hadi77KSA sometimes when you build a buildable, the black bar with the "building" label gets stuck on the screen. the animation for when the player hacks, is broken and only plays as a "shooting" animation on certain terrain.

I will investigate the buildable black bar. The animation not playing while hacking is intended because it relies on the gsc function
setlowready
which doesn’t exist on BO2 ZM as supported by the absence of its calls in the vanilla BO2 ZM scripts and as supported by the BO2 DLC5 Moon footage where the animation doesn’t play, thus it won’t be fixed. Certain sounds being quiet is a known issue, but I doubt I’ll be able to solve it as it’s a complete mystery to me. My guess is it might be something to do with either the tools used or the game itself. All I can say is don’t expect it to be fixed.I’ll need more information or footage regarding the sound not stopping.Update
Replicated the non-stopping sound. Couldn’t replicate buildable black bar, need video footage or more information.

Made the hacking sound behave similar BO1 and BO3 where if the sound gets bugged, it’ll get fixed upon starting another hack.
