I get you guys are trying to not get in trouble for having the game up free but if you guys are gonna remove all old post an everything to do anything at all with the game files or something then what's the point in the plutonium app anymore I'm not gonna download some third party app just to play cod if I already own cod on steam ill just download mods an put them into the game the normal way instead of having some app do it for me that could be trying to inject some type of viruses for all I know during that like leave the game files up put them up somewhere else or just get rid of the app not much a point when it does nothing but the same thing you can do on steam itself without the worries of weird things coming with your mods

I think you're missing the entire point. They aren't forcing you to download plutonium at all. If you want to risk your system for an rce exploit, go ahead. Plutonium is a way to safely play old cods without the risk of getting your computer being controlled by others or running constantly into cheaters.

The point is to offer security, modding capabilities, the ability to host dedicated servers for free with the prerequisite of owning the game, and other QoL features including but not limited to controller aim assist and rumble. It’s not for assisting people with pirating the game. If you already own the game on Steam, that’s great as you can use them with Plutonium by following the install guide. You still can install mods the same way you would for Steam and they would be available for use on Plutonium. I don’t see how them offering game files would mitigate your “worries of weird things coming with your mods”, but hey, all I’m seeing is excuses by someone unwilling to buy the game that goes down to 20 USD during sales that occur at least 6 times a year.

Also, believe it or not, the vanilla game doesn’t have a Mods menu on Zombies for you to load mods from, that’s offered by a third party program. Make of that what you will.

This is an ignorant post, and it's obvious that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
