Black Ops 1 Zombies is definitely superior, can't say anything about other modes though.

if you define better by who has more players playing right now on plutonium then the answer is bo2... by far

Black ops 1 has good modes all round, black ops 2 has about 2 good modes because half the zombies maps are kinda ass. Both are good games but black ops 1 is just better

To me campaigns are preferable
bo2 mps is much better than bo1 in balancing and Customization (especially for the pick 10 system which gives so much for different play styles
) and diversity in gunsfor zombies i say yeah tranzit and die rise might be annoying asf for most people but the other last 3 maps are so good it elevates the whole game to be near perfect zombies
And Nuketown is a challenge for testing your skills as zombies player
