Request / Discussion: XDefiant Integration

XDefiant by Ubisoft shut down, but I was wondering, could something like what you did for CoD be possible for XDefiant? A launcher with custom servers and mod support would be amazing for those of us who still have the game installed.
I saw this on Reddit from user Far_Palpitation5549, which gave hope:
"I was trying some games on my new PC, and for a joke I tried to install XDefiant on Heroic Games Launcher (Epic Games and GOG custom launcher) and it actually worked, so if you have the game from Epic Games, you could still install it through Heroic."
I know there are probably a ton of challenges, especially if XDefiant used dedicated servers or if the game logic is tricky, but if something like this could work, it would be amazing. There’s definitely a community that would love it.
Huge respect for everything you’ve done keeping older games alive.

The Reddit post you talk about, I think, just means someone installed the game files, which wouldn't have been hard to get anyways very likely. I don't think it says anything important here
As for your question, I'm not a dev or anything but I don't think Plutonium devs are interested in adding new games, even less non COD ones
I don't have the technical knowledge to tell you if a client could even be possible for XDefiant but what I know for sure is that it may have a small community with very limited content and possibilities, which might not motivate people to work on it in the first place. The game didn't even have time to get people to love it enough to have modders consider wanting to keep it alive, in my opinion
Clients happen on these old CODs because people have passion for them, with years and years of good memories etc
XDefiant was just a few months beta that went away -

Eldor Resxt Thanks for the replies, I get what you’re saying. Makes sense that Plutonium is all about CoD and has that long history behind it, while XDefiant really didn’t have the time to build that kind of community or nostalgia.
I just didn’t know if it would be really hard to add or not, I don’t code, so I was just curious. A few of us still enjoyed the game, so I figured I’d ask. Appreciate the honest answers
