Auto Hotkey script

Howdy fellow call of duty enjoyers
I recently made a script for a friend that simply changes the windows mouse speed on the fly with auto hotkey. I was just curious if this sort of thing is allowed as its just replacing an inconvenient mouse dpi button located on the bottom of his mouse.
