User Suggestion: New Command
-
Lately, I've been having issues with my stats & progression being reset after some sessions (but not all of them), and I was advised to switch to local stats using the command
use_localStats 1. This works but really isn't ideal for storing progression in a consistent, long-term manner. My suggestion is to give players a command to force a stats update on the server (rather than having to store them locally). Perhaps, something along the lines of apush_serverStatscommand.I'm not sure if the Plutonium dev team takes these kinds of user suggestions or not, but it would make me very happy to see something like this implemented within the client.
Thank you for bringing some of my favorite childhood video games back to life!

The commands
updategamerprofile; uploadstatsserve the purpose of reattempting to upload the stats, but you can still see people reporting the reverting stats problem despite using those commands. In fact,use_localStatswas implemented exactly because those commands weren’t always saving the stats to the backend. https://github.com/plutoniummod/issue-tracker/issues/45 -
That sounds very strange. I wasn't aware of those commands either. Is the client open-source by chance?
