im unable to color my custom classes

since im unable to type ^ in the class setup area i resorted to console commands and used "setstatfromlocstring cacloadouts customclassname" to set a color, it shows up colored in the console but doesnt actually stay colored. it just says the name of the class i set.

any help would be much appreciated - love
