none of the games will launch

idk why but none of my games will launch at all, i selected the right folders and everything but i keep getting this error everytime i try to open up one of the games. so help because idk what is going on i did everything right but it just wont work.

jeffy you have an issue with one of the dependencies (files that the game needs to work).
you can fix this by installing DirectX manually or running the game once thru steam and letting it install what you need. The second method is the easiest and cleanest.
