This is a new post with a few tips I forgot to mention

I've tried all sorts of solutions without getting anywhere, wasted my time and stats, spent too much time grinding – you've probably been there too.

(SOLUTION) Whenever you want to ensure that the game saves your progress when you close it 100% of the times, you must do the following:

    0. This step is fully necessary, it helps to avoid any issues with the following steps. Right-click on plutonium.exe, select Properties, then Compatibility, and tick the box to ‘Always run as administrator’. Then add the folder C:\Users\YOUR-USER\AppData\Local\Plutonium and the file plutonium.exe to the Windows Defender exclusions.

    1. Open the console and type the following command: use_localStats 1 !!!THIS MAY RESET YOUR ACCOUNT!!! but in return, your progress will be saved 100% of the time

    2. Restart the game and type the following command: writeconfig config_mp.cfg (this will create the file and force a save every time a setting is changed)

    3. Play a few rounds to get a headshot or level up so you can verify that there has been no loss of level in the next step.

    4. Type the command: forceuploadstats (not uploadstats as mentioned in other forums)

    5. Change a setting that requires changes to be applied, such as FXAA

    6. Go to the menu where the ‘Quit’ option is located to close the game, and after a few seconds you can close the game.

For subsequent times, you simply need to type ‘forceuploadstats’, change any setting, and exit via the menu after a few seconds.

A sign that everything is working correctly is that, when you follow these steps, you will see the text ‘Writing stats...’ appear in the console (not the in-game console) as Plutonium launches.

If you’re interested in knowing what each command does, here’s a summary.

use_localStats 1 This makes Plutonium save your progress locally on your system rather than on its servers; it’s faster and less problematic, but if there’s a major update, your data may be affected. If you want a fully ‘bulletproof’ backup, copy the entire ‘storage’ folder located within %localappdata%\Plutonium\

writeconfig config_mp.cfg basically forces the game to save all your current information to the configuration file

forceuploadstats Forces a data synchronisation with your locally created files

If you reset your account, you can at least restore your levels by using the following commands (Allowed by Plutonium no risk of ban):

LVL: statsetbyname rankxp 125000 to level 55
Prestige: statsetbyname plevel (from 1 to 11)

After that, just play a game and you’re all set

Let me know about any issues, i hope it helps!!

use_localStats 1 may reset your progress, however, this doesn’t mean you’ll lose your stats; you’ll simply switch to local save mode, as if it were an alt account. You can always switch back to cloud mode to access your progress using the command use_localStats 0, but this mode doesn’t guarantee that everything will be saved.
