I was on bo2 plutonium private match trying to set up this new controller I got which involved changing thumb stick dead zones and response curves in the scuf software and while I was tabbing in and out after a few tries the controller stopped working, so I quit the application reopened it and was hit with a one week ban? I was dumb to try and make a new account so now its 2 weeks lmao. I've been on this platform for years with absolutely no problem so I'm genuinely scratching my head at this. anyone have any suggestions what I can do here or am I stuck waiting because I can't appeal.

That's is BS and you know that. The AC does not detect msi after burner or RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server)

ChosenUndead due to lack of transparency related to ban reasons, all i can do is guess. thats the only thing i've been using for a year straight, it seems like someone changed something in the anticheat in late 2025 and got a day ban and a week ban later on, so i thought maybe its afterburner so i stopped using it. played t6 for a month, then i got permabanned

Not even Vanguard has ever made me close or change any settings on my PC to play Valorant. Something on your PC is triggering the anti-cheat.

In the last few posts, people have been talking about mod menus and things like that. That could have triggered the anti-cheat.

ChosenUndead well, its the only thing i was using at the time, the inconsistency in my 3 bans is what caught my attention, 2 in a row and perma 1 month later, so if i had something in my pc it would've been 3 in a row. but i cant do anything about it so i leave as it is

Yes, it is kind of weird, since I've read a lot of posts from people who said they got banned out of nowhere.
At the same time, I've been playing on Plutonium for 8 years, and during all that time I've never been banned, not even once.

In fact, back when non-Steam versions of the game were allowed, I used one. Nowadays, I've bought all the older Call of Duty games on Steam.
