i have the same thing happening to me and there is no error codes if i go to open one of the games on the launcher plutonim just dissapears and removes it self from my pc ive tried renstalling both bo2 and the laucher a lot of times and still the same thing is happening

wooden If its removing the file from your PC everytime you download it, might be your antivirus. Try adding pluto to your av's exclusions but if it's some shitty antivirus like McAfee, Avast, etc. I'd suggest uninstalling them.
Zeto Install the redists and run dxsetup.exe inside the directx folder https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download and if you have McAfee, uninstall it.
