Mic gain cranked on startup

Everytime I launch either MP or Zombies my mic gain gets cranked. I've tried many things and nothing seems to fix it. As soon as I exit it goes back to normal. Does anyone know of a fix?

Try turning off "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"
System -> Sound -> Device properties below your input device -> Additional device properties -> advanced
Could also just try turning off voice chat in the game options.
