Running Plutonium alongside Steam version of BO2

Hello,
I was wondering if it's still possible to run the Steam version (so also playing on the Steam servers) of BO2 when I have installed the Plutonium client. I bought the game around 7 years ago and I was just curious if I'm able to run both versions of the game alongside and seperate of eachother since I also still want to play on the regular servers sometimes.
And if it is possible then I probably need to make a second copy of my BO2 folder for Plutonium so it doesn't link with Steam or anything, right?

kommissar yes you can play the game on steam using the same bo2 installation. You don't even have to make a copy of your folder, pluto doesn't modify any steam related files.
