First time modding

So I was playing origins in a server that had "unlimited perk mod" in it 3 mins in the game the console said "cheaters aren't welcome in this server" how do i play on servers that have mods for zombies without getting banned? I tried to play in LAN mode but no servers showed up

BabbuMaan you won't get banned, those are automated messages
cheats != mods.
Ofc there are no servers in lan mode, it's lan mode not online mode.

BabbuMaan yes. why would the server be running mods if it didn't allow players to use them?
