Is there a way to start a LAN match simultaneously?

Hi guys! (again).

I succesfully connected both of my PCs launching Plutonium in LAN Mode.
I select a custom game, the match starts, but when the other player uses:

/connect myIP:4976

he has to wait until I kill all of the zombies of the first wave.

Is there a way for us to join at the same time? I mean, start playing since the very first wave?

to 2 via the console before starting the match.
