    OS: Windows 10 Pro 20H2 64 bit
    GPU: 1080 ti
    CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
    Monitor Resolution: 2560x1440 @ 165Hz

A few days ago my game reset its resolution back to 800x600 .
Now the maximum resolution I can pick is 1360x768.
I tried using r_mode 2560x1440 and then vid_restart, but that just reverts it back to 800x600.
This happens in both windowed and fullscreen mode.

Have you tried to set the resolution through the config file?

I tried, but it was already installed. Other games work fine.

Where is the config located? I only found ../players/user_mp.cgp in my T6 folder, but it's encrypted.

            Huh,
I could have sworn this thread was in the MW3 category.
Try changing the aspect ration in-game to the correct one and then increase the resolution.

Not sure if I'm blind, but I can't find the option for that. And it seems like r_aspectratio is write-protected.

I just double checked with my game, I do not have any issues just setting 2560x1440 as a resolution.

Can you double check if your PC does detect that resolution with your refreshrate of 165?
