No sound

I have Black ops 2 on steam. I selected the game folder and everything works fine except for my sound. The game doesnt produce any sound. I tried everything I disabled all other sound outputs, I installed the newest direct x version checked sound mixer...I even reinstalled the game but it still doesnt work.

same here, before i had the sound, i tried to reinstall the game, pluto,direct x.... please i really need helppppppp

How to fix no sound in-game?
- Make sure the game's volume is high in the game settings and in Windows volume mixer
- Select the correct audio device in your game settings if available
- Install Direct X (even if it's already installed) https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=35
