Black screen after changing video settings

I was trying to get mw3 to run at the optimal config, when I applied the changes the game went black, I still have sound and I can hear when i hover the menus but its just black

Left clicking helps.
Or try to alt tab.

Or Control + Alt + Delete and then press escape. Seems to do the trick for me when I get the problem. Although it doesn't happen too often for me.
