Is it known, no. Can I guess, yeah. Likely the additional overhead that Windows 10 runs, including the gamebar etc. Windows 7 is End Of Life and a major security risk, I can't happily post without warning you to upgrade. You don't wanna be a victim of the next WannaCry do you?

As discussed on discord it highly depends on what you do with your Windows 10 installation.

Cause the game was made for Windows 7 originally i believe, but the game also works in Win10.
