Game Crashes on Startup

I downloaded plutonium using the torrent given in the installation guide and it gives me an error when I try to start the game (multiplayer or zombies). It looks like it's loading as it goes into fullscreen at 800x600 with the windows loading icon but when I alt+tab there's an unhandled exception error open in another window. The game then closes along with the bootstrapper and error message after about 10 seconds. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the torrented game, plutonium launcher etc. over and over to no avail. The crash dump says this:
Exception Code: 0xC0000005
Exception Address: 0x6FB8526CEdit: I have the steam version of BO2 as well without DLC. I downloaded it and I get an exception error for that as well when I launch it. Not sure what's wrong.

Have any overlays such as msi afterburner/rivatuner running in the background? Quit or disable them if you do. Also as stated in the error message, upload the crashdump from the crashdumps folder.

I have MSI afterburner and rivatuner installed but not running (it also wasn't working before I had them installed even). BO2 and plutonium worked fine on my old PC but I got a new one a few days ago and they won't launch now.

Xerxes And what can I do to fix that? Seems like many people have had this issue from looking back on these forums, guess i'll just not play BO2 since there's no apparent resolution

Its a crash in an external library so its not in Plutonium's nor BO2's code. It most likely is a faulty driver, faulty installation of dependencies (eg if you download random dlls), manipulated system, a dx hook or simply bad HW / OC.
Take a look at the windows event log it should tell you the faulty module.
