Game crashing problem

Whenever i change my resolution, or load a mod, an error pops out and this is the message:
Direct3DDevice9::Present failed: An undetermined error occurred

Everything was working just fine 20 minutes prior to the first time i encountered this error, and i haven't even did anything such as messing around the settings. I have tried adding in d3d9 a couple of hours ago but even after plutonium deletes it the game worked just fine.
