is there a way to invite my friend to a private game or do i have to start a server

Xerxes idk what happened but i tried using it and it just randomly worked, didnt use it for a few days so im guessing just leaving it for abit did smth lmao

ive tried repairing my game files but it still says im missing this file "default_mp_controls.cfg" so im not sure what to try next

Not all the right things are showing up my Bo2 folder, ive deleted and reinstalled but its the same, anyone know how to fix it, ive tried running the game but it just says "Error during initialization:
Missing config file "default_mp_controls.cfg" during initiliazation. May need to add to code_pre_gfx."
Ive written _pre_gfx in the menu that pops up when you click play but nothing happens so im either doing it wrong or im not meant to put it there.
anyone know how to get the files in the folder?
