Can confirm, same problem here. I even tried plugging in my steam controller and I still can't rotate it as well.

What's the point of playing this if it runs so horriblylolfix101 said in What's the point of playing this if it runs so horribly:
isp issue, bad dns is possible. runs without problem on my machine/network.
this is a user error.
Impossible to troubleshoot without access to your machine and no one will waste their time for free.
if you dont see any point of playing, no one is forcing you to play. That's definitely not a thing, DNS just resolves the website names. My ISP is decent and I have no problem at all connecting to any other servers, no loss or anything, even routing to other continents is pretty decent, and I get <20ms to local servers (~10ms but ping ingame is always higher on BO1). I have no problems on BO2 as well.

There's this same hosting company hosting 3 different BO1 servers: Nuketown 18 players is extremely laggy, while the other server with just 6~8 people playing feels perfectly fine.
Just hop on a server with less than 10~12 players and keep playing until it gets full, you'll notice the stutterings are there and people start teleporting after more people join. It makes me think their server machine is fine and the connection to the server is also fine, and the stuttering problem is related to the gameAnd yes I've tried different packedup numbers, rate is maxed out, same for cl maxpackets and snaps (if it even makes a difference)

Stuttering to all hell in MultiplayerSee, as I've said on other posts here, I noticed that the stuttering happens more often when there's more than 12 players in a server. At this point I'm pretty sure it's something server/connection related, on the software side
This afternoon I tried playing on a server with just 6~8 people and it was smooth as butter. And that hosting website/company/whatever is hosting other servers too, including an insanely laggy nuketown 18 players, which means the server machine and my connection to the server are fine, it's something related to the game.I just hope the pluto devs are already looking for a fix

Micro Stuttering Fix?lukas-A said in Micro Stuttering Fix?:
BIadeecity I know that it âsupportsâ high refresh by letting you select it in the menu, but it doesnât feel smooth like other cods at 144hz. Itâs like it lets you select it but even with 300fps+ or vsyncâd at 144hz it doesnât feel smooth at all. I tried capping the fps all the way to 60 and it still just doesnât feel right. Not sure maybe it can be fixed in the future. Forgot to mention Iâm on a 3080 and a 10900k, will maybe try it on my ryzen 5600x system to see if it runs differently.
Then it could be system related or idk. When I get 250fps stable and I'm not getting any stutters (which is almost impossible rn) it feels absolutely smooth and fine, and it's pretty noticeable to me because when I jump back to WZ Rebirth I can definitely notice the increased input lag and the lower FPS (130~160fps) there.
But these stutterings are killing me inside, it happens so so often and everyone is always stuttery ingame as well

What's the point of playing this if it runs so horriblyResxt
I'm not the OP, but...I've seen multiple people complaining about stuttering on discord (just do a search, basically every hour theres a few people asking about it), in almost every server I join there's someone asking about the stuttering, a pretty popular brazilian youtuber also was complaining about it on his latest video, and I've had 8 friends trying BO1 Pluto and they all had stuttering problems as well, with mid to high end PCs (anywhere from 3600X + 1660 to 5800X3D and 3070s), on the forums there's people complaining about it too, etc..
I'm aware that it's a work in progress, it's a mod you guys work for on your free time, and I was obviously expecting some issues on the release, but it's almost unplayble. I'm reporting it because I love this project and I want to see it get better, and maybe help it somehow

Micro Stuttering Fix?lukas-A It's what I'm guessing as well. And it does support high refresh rate, but my FPS is a bit unstable, and it's a game problem too. If you remember MW3 pluto before the updates, it feels similar.
I lock it at 250 and it hovers around 170~250 all the time (which ironically enough it's the framerate I get on MW19 MP). I might give it a try at 125 locked later, even though I have a 280Hz monitor, just to see how it'll behave. Maybe it could be delaying packets or whatever when it runs at >90fps and causing these issues? I need to test it, I haven't tried playing it with the default FPS limit -
Micro Stuttering Fix?I'm having the same issues with an i7 8700K @5GHz and a 1080Ti, same for my friends with other Intel CPUs (9900K, etc). Running everything on very low settings and disabled everything I could, freshly installed windows 10 and optimized. It's a game issue I'm 100% sure, maybe even related to the server, because it does lag more on some servers than others from what I've noticed, especially with more than 12 players.
I tried setting the process to real-time priority and at first it was stuttering less often, however on other servers the stuttering was still annoying. Maybe it was placebo.I'm still waiting for the pluto devs to say something about it, if they're working on a fix or what is causing it exactly. It's impossible to play this game with this kind of stuttering, so annoying.

Micro stutters during gameplayHopping in just to say the same thing. I know the game has just released, and the devs are probably aware, but...
My game feels extremely stuttery and the connection feels super laggy, even with <20ms. It's interesting because everything runs fine with less than 12 players, but with any more players it feels terrible.
Also, I don't feel like opening wireshark because of the anticheat, but it feels like the servers are running at an insanely low tickrate, similar to MW3 P2P (I'm guessing 10Hz up?). Not sure if there's a way to improve it, but devs should take a look at it imho. It's acceptable with low ping, but anything above 100ms and it starts getting really annoying, and I guess a considerable amount of players need to play with a high ping because geography.Off topic but also: fovmin isn't working

[Release] "Too Bad, So Sad" BO Cold War reticle for the Reflex sightDescription: I really liked this reticle when I played the first CW free weekend, and since it's on free week right now I decided to export the file and port it to BO2
I barely know how to do these mods, so sorry if something isn't perfect. Unfortunately I couldn't export it to the exact color as the CW one, but maybe you can get a different color if you rename it to a different reticle that has your target color. How to install:
Just drop the .iwi file on the pluto_t6_full_game\t6r\data\images folder
This reticle replaces the "Cross" reticle for the Reflex sight, under the DLC2 tab.Credit to Treyarch for making the texture, and thanks to Scobalula for making the Greyhound app and updating it to support BOCW.

I uploaded the .dds and the .png file as well, in case you want to change somethingScreenshot:
