I'm not sure if this is a topic that has already been covered in this forum, but a few days of searching reddit (and the internet as a whole) has not yielded any information to help me.
When playing my computer will semi-randomly completely freeze. I will still be able to hear gameplay, discord, and other sounds on my computer, but both of my monitors will be frozen and the only solution is to restart my PC (no alt-tab, no task manager, etc.)
This problem occurs most frequently when I alt-tab, but even when I don't it can still happen randomly on map load or in the menus. Most of the time, emphasis on most, when I get into a game it will run smoothly with good frames and minimum stuttering/other issues and will remain this way until I either get off the game (or forget and alt-tab, lol). The last time this happened I had both Task Manager and the Plutonium console up on my second monitor and neither of them reported any issues, errors, or high hardware usage values.
I'm running on Windows 10 with an AMD 9070xt, more than 32 gbs of ram, and a 3900x Ryzen CPU, with Plutonium and BO1 installed on an M.2 drive.
This problem has persisted through many changes (capping frame rates, changing graphics settings, etc.) and nothing I have done has seemed to have an affect on when or why or how this issue is occuring.
Just posting here to see if anyone has had a similar issue and if there are any known fixes.
