Hello! I'm bung, I've never posted on the forums before but I've been using Plutonium for a long time now and I love the direction plutonium has taken over the last few years. Every time a new game is added there is something new brought to the table that wasn't present on the steam versions of these games, so I'd like to outline why I believe BO3 should be considered again for plutonium, but before I talk about my reasonings there's some stuff I need to put on the table, I've done very little research into the previous posts onto this topic, because they seemed really short and without reason besides I want bo3 for free. and I'd like to state that I do own BO3 for steam with 500+ hours, and I believe I've done my time to have my say. I've read the reasonings on why bo3 plutonium isn't realistic. With bo3 offering everything pluto does, it taking a lot of time to get working through demon ware, and just general blocks. but id like to outline a few reasons how plutonium would improve upon BO3's existing framework
Multiplayer
-
The ability to run servers of older modes that don't get run on the steam version of the game i.e. Blackjack Gun Game, Infected, Prop Hunt, Snipers Only, Ground War, Gun Game and I'm sure the list goes on
-
Player Customization could be a focus of this plutonium mod. As with the unlock all that plutonium has on every multiplayer, they could take the xlabs/s1x route and unlock all the micro transactions as well, meaning players can customize everything as they please, from emblems and calling cars, to their specialists and guns.
-
The obvious. Hackers. With BO3's "anti-cheat" in its current state (non existent), the multiplayer experience is very hit or miss. you never know if you're gonna get a 6 stack of level 1000s spinbotting with unlimited ammo RPKs or you're gonna have a nice enjoyable game of TDM. and there is no in-between, its either a pleasant game, or you wanna rip your hair out of your skull.
Zombies
-
With Custom Zombies Maps available on the steam workshop. i don't think it'd be to hard for server owners to put customs on their servers. infinitely improving replayablity
-
High Round quality of life improvements. The ability to completely disable gobblegum, a zombie counter, just small things like this that don't impact gameplay but make things simply more enjoyable for the player
Campaign
- Modded campaign missions, console commands, and just fun stuff to do with friends, more of a laid back time. and server owners could really just be creative with this side of the game
THE BIGGEST UPSIDE I CAN SEE
BO3 is on deaths doorstep on steam, and a lot of people know that. its the reason I along with a lot of others gave up on steam BO3, but if there was a safer alternative, I'd come back in a heart beat!
And that's my reasonings for why I believe BO3 should be on steam, feel free to either chime in or tear me apart for not understanding the point of plutonium or something I don't really care. have a great day guys!
