Hey i had a similar issue but essentially the games friend list doesnt work right so what u have to do is first go to cmd and write down ipconfig and scroll down till u find ur device ip it should be under wireless lan adapter wifi ipv4 (i dont know for ethernet but there should be tutorials online) then when u start the private game tell them to write connect and your ip it should look like 123.456.789.900 so the command would be connect and your Ip. this should help with lan otherwise you could search up find my ip and alternatively use that if your friends are abroad and if both fail you should use radmin vpn, granted it is MUCH laggier but it does allow you to play even from different countries there is a guide in plutonium itself you should just be able to find it on the main website when downloading Iw5 hope this helps
